National Erasmus+ Information Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina was organized on Thursday, 9 November 2017, at the University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Political Sciences. The event was opened by Suad Muhibic, Head of National Erasmus+ office in BiH, Prof. Dr. Biljana Antunovic, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, Alexandra WAGNER, Head of Banja Luka Office, Delegation of the EU to BiH and Adnan Husic, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Civil Affairs BiH.
The event was organized in order to promote opportunities within the Erasmus+ programme, with special emphasis on possibilities within the area of higher education, including: capacity building for higher education, international credit mobility, joint master degrees, Jean Monnet activities, and other relevant opportunities.
The event attended about 90 participants, including representatives of public and private higher education institutions, relevant ministries of education, NGOs, students, and other relevant stakeholders in the field of higher education in BiH.

National Erasmus+ Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina (NEO), in cooperation with the Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE) organized the TAM workshop „The Management of Human Resources in Public Higher Education“ on Friday, 20th October 2017, in the premises of the Rectorate of the University of Banja Luka.
The workshop was led by an international expert, Prof. Stephen Hagen, professor emeritus at ITMO University of St. Petersburg, Russian Federation.
The workshop aimed to transfer knowledge and experience of European universities in human resource management and discussed the challenges in this area and the ways of overcoming them.

6th Ministerial Meeting of the Western Balkans Platforms on Education and Training & Research and Innovation was held in Belgrade on September 28-29, 2017. Meeting in Belgrade was a continuation of initiative launched in 2012 in Danilovgrad in the field of education and training in the Western Balkans region. These meetings are is aimed at identifying joint priorities at regional level, as well as possibilities for further elaboration of these ideas, that may serve as topics of interest for potential joint projects supported by EU funds.
Meeting was organized in form of panel discussions of ministers of education and ministers of science, as well as alumni who are drivers of regional alumni association. This association as such is one of the products of previous ministerial meeting, and is aimed at encouraging youth to use mobility programmes, as well as to encourage marginalized students` group to use mobility opportunities. European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, Tibor Navracsics actively participated in this panel.
