Detailed and systematic analysis of legislation and practice in recognition procedures, the state of implementation of Lisbon Recognition Convention in BiH and recommendation for improvement covers current legislations (Republic of Srpska, ten cantons in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Brčko District of BiH) concerning recognition of foreign higher education qualifications including access to an assessment, criteria and procedures, deadlines, appeal, the term of “substantial differences”. The document also presents the main challenges that should be overcome and goals to be achieved in order to have fair recognition fully aligned with the Lisbon Recognition Convention.

The Austrian  National  Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research (OEAD) organized “Higher Education Talks on International Mobility” that was held in Graz, on 15th and 16th October 2015. Event has been be co-funded by the Austrian Ministry for Science, Research, and Economy (BMWFW), as well as by the Project „Pro.Mo.Austria–Promoting Mobility. Addressing the Challenges in Austria“ – a KA3 activity of the European commission.
